About Us

After spending years watching the local concert scene blossom, into a world class destination, I started to notice a theme. The people who wanted to see concerts, were having to fight tooth and nail against scalpers to get decent seats. The main reason was that scalpers had knowledge, that gave them a leg up on getting tickets sooner, and access to better lots of tickets. I started to gather the same knowledge that had helped these slimy ticket resellers. Soon enough I was buying tickets at the same level as them, and I started to share that knowledge with my community, to grant them the ability to run head to head with these ticket brokers. It wasn’t long before the Concert Addicts community itself started to blossom.

We now have a great little website, that has expanded to include concert reviews, concert photography, music news, album reviews, artist interviews, concert ticket giveaways, and a local concert calendar. Our presence has expanded to include a many social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace. All of which have helped our users share in the quest to keep one another informed about the local concert scene. We are proud of our little family, and humbled by the reach we have gained. We love live music, and we love our community.

Our future plans are not firm, but full of many possibilities.  We hope to expand the website to include other cities, and introduce member specified information delivery.  We are working hard to bring you the experience you are looking for.  In the end this is all for the love of live music. If our site can turn one person on to a new band, or help one person get tickets before the scalpers do, we have done our job.
