Jeff Dunham Spark Of Hilarity

Get ready for a seriously funny comedian. Master ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is bringing his puppets to Red Robinson Show Theater in Coquitlam for a two show stint. Both presentations are February 25th, one being a 7:30 pm time slot and the other a 10:00 pm one.

This man has been busy making us laugh for years, most notably hosting his own Comedy Central shows, Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself, Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity, and Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special. He brings to the stage various characters with larger than life persona’s. Most recognized of the bunch is Achmed the Dead Terrorist, a character who has seen not only mainstream success, but also in several online videos that have gone viral (126,878,192 hits). The schtick is he is a former terrorist who sacrificed his life as a suicide bomber, the interaction between Jeff and Achmed, will have you in tears. If you haven’t seen it, here is the video.

The rest of the line up contains many other characters. Walter, a grumpy old man, who likes getting a little frisky with the females in attendance. Peanut, who is billed as a purple headed Woozle, is like a acid trip of comedy genius. José Jalapeño on a Stick, is in fact a jalapeno in a stick, brings the Mexploitation every show deserves. Bubba J, a beer swilling, true to life redneck, is both funny and educational in an unsettling way. Plus many many more personalities Jeff has brought out and some that I am sure are buried deep in his twisted subconscious. This man brings back the days of ventriloquism and combines it with a more current comedy style that will have you busting your gut.

So the bottom line is if you are looking to find a great comedian to see live, this is your man. Go online right now and buy tickets, you will not be disappointed. For the early show go here and the late show go here.
